I originally posted this in another thread but at Tess' suggestion I am giving it it's own thread over here in genetics. I am curious about other's takes on how this is possible and what experiments i might try with these starters!

Why would anybody want a starter?

I hatched six starters and threw well traited roos at them. Five untraited winecoats and one SHADOW. Interestingly enough there is no known shadow in the caledonian father's background. I was expecting the wines, but the shadow caught me totally by surprise!

I've been literally working for months to create this roo, and now I finally have her!

Is there a chart somewhere where I can see which coats/species/traits/etc. are dominant or recessive?

I have Forests coming out of the most odd pairings. I now have a plethora of Forests. Once they were my favourites, now I have a plague!!

Anyone else have this problem?
