Greetings,
I realize the website was set up so that a player could create their own name on the forum, but it seems like there is a LOT of abuse of that, with many alts being created to post here.
I do not intend to name names, do NOT do this, but we all pretty much know who is doing it and which are their alts.
Now, that in itself is not necessarily a bad thing, but I suggest that player accountability to their forum presence might need to be enforced when the new forums are considered, if possible.
I believe posting on this forum is a priveledge not to be taken lightly, that my posts here should reflect upon me, my avatar, without anonymity, and thus I do my best to post responsibly here on the forum.
That anonymity is allowing some alts to have entire conversations with themselves here on the forum, agreeing with themselves over and over again, pressing their own agenda as if there are multiple players on their side, but often making the mistake of using the wrong account to reply. (heh)
While it's funny in a strange, warped and nonsensical sense, it's causing a lot of friction and resentment from real serious game players who accept accountability for their forum presence and who desire to give sincere input to Malevay, post questions, suggestions and to have open discussions.
Please Malevay, would it be possible when the new forum software is considered, that in order to post to the majority portions of the forum we should be required to register in game by our Second Life avatars/names AND that we be required to be valid current Meeroo players?
Except, possibly, a Help section where anyone could post if they have issues with registrations?
