Meeroos at One Year

Tad Carlucci's picture

2PM SLT, today, marks the one-year anniversary of the official opening of the game.

As many know, I collect numbers on the performance of the game.

As of the start of this Meeroo day, at 9PM last night there were:

74,273 web accounts (including some 'dead' accounts)

4,727,517 nests had been produced; including Levio, Dawnara, 275,348 Starters and Dryads they produced, and a small handful of 'test' Meeroos.

6,106 nests were produced in the previous day and about 7,500 should appear today.

71,190 Meeroos were alive and breeding to produce those nests, but this population is declining at somewhere between 450 and 500 per day.

2,507 (estimated) players were actively breeding with an estimated average herd size of 28

It's been months since I've published graphs of the results. In the interim, some have privately asked to see my current graphs. Given that it's the one-year anniversary, I've put a new set of 13 graphs.

I won't go into how I collect the data: it's been covered well enough.

In the past, I removed most of my analytical models; for this set, I've left my models visible but removed the numerical values for rate-of-change and statistical confidence. Each of the graphs has some comments which I hope will help you understand what the graph shows.
