Nocturnals

The nocturnal release is close. They will be releasing another sneak peek in June. They will not give any details or specifics on the release date. There is one more script update for the Home Stumps before beta testing. When we see that we will know the nocturnals are close.

Pre-Orders will begin shortly after the home stump update. They are most likely going to be the same prices as the original release pre-orders. They will last for 2 weeks as the staff does a closed beta test. On conclusion of the Beta ... nocs will arrive. Moxie said only that it is going to be more sooner than later.

Nocturnals will have new personalities, work on existing stumps and also have a new food released.

Hybrid

Hybrids will be a mix of the old diurnals and the new nocturnals. They will not say hybrid anywhere. They will have one additional trait slot. They are designed to be a way to add new traits to existing gene pools.

You can pull hybrid traits by experimenting and mixing your diurnals and nocturnals.

Legendaries
*****************
Legendaries will be bred out of our existing roos. No specifics were given, we have to discover that ourselves. Legendary traits will pass. They are part of the story line of the Watchers. Wings and Head Ornaments are legendary traits. Dryads have nothing to do with the production of Legendaries.

PigBat - side story for the nocturnals and is already referenced for you lore hounds... no other hints as to what it is.

Regard

Your new regard for nocs will affect your chances with hybrids. I believe there was post that stated it will be the lesser of your two regards for calculating success. The regard bonus is nominal but it does increase your chance of pulling new traits.

Coats and Traits

New coats have not arrived yet because people have not bred out the right combos yet.

The tome currently shows all existing traits available. Previously the traits were only revealed in tome once someone had discovered one. Now they keep all visible to encourage us. There are new coats and species already floating out there... we just need to discover the keys/combos to unlock. They would not be specific on how a new trait/coat is released, but Levio referenced an older blog post.

There are no plans to retire any coats atm. If you feel strongly one way or the other please visit the forums to give us your feedback.

Fellowship

Your fellowships will stay the same. There is one fellowship which will earn both vashara and orlex regard. There will be no new fellowships specifically for Orlex..

HUD
****************
The hud will have a switch to toggle it between Orlex and Vashara. There will be only one HUD for both Oracles. Demo is shown at the fair.

Tome
*******************
The Tome is ONLY a record of your discoveries and has no influence or effect at all on your ability to discover new traits or coats or species.
