A question about "Head" genetics...

Skyclimber's picture

Are meeroo's designed to allow head traits to be a dominant trait or are they strictly limited to being recessive? Please understand, I am looking for a definite answer here, not an opinion. I am trying to breed a SUE female with a feline-head male who are otherwise identical except for size. I am wondering if I have a chance of both traits passing to the offspring to produce a SUE, feline-head. Each of the parents have parents with strong respective genes. (ie: SUE has strong SUE from both sides and feline-head has strong feline-head from his parents.) Any info from anyone who knows for sure, would be greatly appreciated. I am aware of what Mendel said, but from what I've read, meeroos do not follow Mendelian genetics exactly. Thanks so much!
