Ok so I'm not sure if this was a fluke, but I'm very excited and had to share it with you all. As I've said in other threads, I've only been into roos for like 2 months. I just put together some projects in an effort to upcoat, and this is one of the pairs I put together:

Mischievous female azure

Mischievous male snowpaw

So I was testing out the theory you guys have been talking about involving using snowpaws or lochs to upcoat in higher species. On the first nest from them I got a snowpaw. Not bad for me because I love the little snows anyway. Well, tonight they had their second nest, which was this:

BOOM!! Sakura!! I so was not expecting that. I thought I might get a kabuki from them, or maybe even an azure. There's no sakura in either line as far back as I can see. So for all of you debating which method of upcoating is better, well I still don't have the answer lol. But this is something to throw into the conversation at least. I put my sweet little sakura with another snowpaw I had, hoping for a geisha upcoat but we will see what happens. I'll keep you updated even if you don't want me to because I'm very excited hehe.
